1) What do you charge?
An agreement is usually made with the customer on a fixed price prior to beginning the work. This eliminates the shock of discussing hourly rates. A written quote is provided and the price is a “guaranteed maximum” as long as the scope of work is not changed by the owner. There are, of course, variations of this, depending on the complexity of the work and the length of time involved to complete the work.

2) Do you offer payment terms?
Overall body/paint-work is payable in full at the completion of the work. The customer may make payments if they wish until the work is completed. Work of a restoration and customizing nature requires a 25% down-payment of the total quote. The customer is billed every two weeks with the balance of the quote value due upon completion. This is necessary due to the extended-time nature of this type of work.
